The B&S MBX 3 Heritage, developed in collaboration with trumpeter Christian Martinez, offers an expressive sound and exceptional projection. Ideal for jazz or variety sections.

The MBX 3 Heritage, the third series developed with Christian Martinez, features a rich, harmonically complex tone. This trumpet includes numerous technical improvements, such as a redesigned leadpipe and optimized conicity up to the valve block, ensuring easy airflow and precise balance.

Made in Germany, the B&S MBX 3 Heritage Trumpet is equipped with three short-stroke Monel pistons, offering fast action and increased durability. The ML bore of 0.459 inches (11.66 mm) allows precise sound control and easy playability.

Its lightweight gold brass bell of 4.92 inches (125 mm) produces a warm, expressive sound, while the flat French-style bell rim adds a distinctive aesthetic touch. The reversed leadpipe enhances response and tuning accuracy.

The B&S MBX 3 Heritage Bb Trumpet comes with a new 3rd valve slide stopper system, providing additional stability during play. It also includes two sets of valve caps, both heavy and light, allowing musicians to modulate the sound according to their preferences. The pistons feature fast action for convenient handling.

This trumpet is supplied with a double hard case, ensuring optimal protection during transport.

Among its advantages are significantly improved finishes, with an anti-corrosion leadpipe and high-quality lacquer. The instrument's construction is robust, offering serious durability and reliability. The set of bottom valve caps allows for sound modulation at will, providing great musical versatility. The attacks are precise, and the centering is effective. Additionally, the available finishes are modern and understated.

Points to consider include the case, which, although beautiful and well-made, can be somewhat impractical. Additionally, the instrument's aging capacity remains to be determined. Finally, the price may be considered slightly high, given the technical features and improvements.
