The Buffet Crampon Divine 1160L clarinets are high-end instruments that benefit from numerous technological and acoustic advancements. The development of these clarinets was guided by Paul Meyer, a renowned French clarinetist, in collaboration with the Buffet Crampon workshops and other major international musicians.

The tone hole placement from the Tosca, a previous model by Buffet Crampon, has been incorporated into the Divine clarinets. This enhancement allows for optimal intonation across the instrument's entire range. Additionally, the bore has been refined to smooth out register transitions and facilitate sound production in all playing conditions, even the most challenging.

The Divine clarinets come with two barrels, 65mm (442hz) and 66mm (440hz), enabling musicians to choose the pitch that best suits their playing style, whether they are playing a Bb or A clarinet. These instruments are offered exclusively in wood and feature Green LinE inserts at certain points on the upper body, eliminating air leaks at the tone holes most susceptible to cracking.

Another advantage of the Divine clarinets is the use of Buffet Crampon's patented carbon wire to replace all metal rings. This results in a significant weight reduction of about 60 grams and contributes to a new overall balance of the instrument, which vibrates more freely and significantly improves sound projection.

The Divine clarinets are also equipped with a low F correction key, just like the Tosca model. The keywork has been enhanced with new spatulas that improve ergonomics without destabilizing the technical play of clarinetists. The RC bore family has thus evolved with the introduction of the Divine at the Buffet Crampon workshops.

The Divine clarinets represent the union of the French musical instrument manufacturing craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology in the service of musical excellence. They are constructed with selected grenadilla wood (Dalbergia Melanoxylon), a Buffet Crampon poly-cylindrical bore, tenon rings, synthetic cork on tenons that require no lubrication, metal pins with O-ring joints, cold-forged and blued springs, and a combination of GT pads (100 percent waterproof and breathable) and natural cork pads.
