The Yamaha YCR 2330 III Cornet is an evolution of the successful YCR-2330 and YCR-2310 models, retaining their design while incorporating improvements. Its ML bore provides a quick and easy response. The specially designed two-piece yellow brass bell, along with a more rounded leadpipe bend, enhance the sound quality and playability. The new Monel alloy pistons, heavier top and bottom valve caps contribute to better projection and sound density.

The yellow brass bell, made from a gold brass alloy, offers a wide range of sound colors and aids technique and endurance. The Monel alloy pistons feature 'Super Lapping Technology' for smooth and precise valve action. The new tuning slides, inspired by professional models, ensure better stability and a rich, refined sound.

The more rounded leadpipe bend and the 11.65 mm (0.459 inches) ML bore give the instrument a gentle, light response and a warm sound. Made in China, the Yamaha YCR 2330 III Cornet comes with a new leadpipe, yellow brass bell, Monel alloy pistons, improved valve caps and buttons, and a CRC-2330II case.
