Compared to the original Michael Davis model, this instrument stands out with its greater scope. It offers exceptional versatility with a warm, round, and full sound, as well as a rich timbre.

The lightweight silver-plated nickel-silver slide ensures clean and precise articulations, allowing the musician great control in their play. The yellow brass bell, measuring 7.75 inches (196.85 mm) in diameter, produces a clear and pure sound, with a powerful fundamental. It maintains a uniform color and harmonious structure across the entire dynamic range.

The Michael Davis + trombone is proudly made in the USA. It is equipped with a T08MD lightweight nickel-silver slide with a yellow brass crook, a SY 1.5 yellow brass tuning slide, an MD + 1.5 yellow brass leadpipe, and an MD + lightweight yellow brass bell.

This bell, hand-hammered and slightly flared at the exit, features an artisanal engraving representing the Michael Davis motif.

The instrument also has a lacquered finish and comes with a protective case and a Shires mouthpiece.
