Manufactured by James Keefe, former piccolo maker at Brannen Brothers workshops in 1978 before becoming the vice president, then the general manager.
James's career is so rich that many manufacturers recognize him as one of the best specialists and makers of piccolos in the world.
Keefe piccolo headjoints have 3 cuts:
- Traditional : for a rich, dark, and focused sound
- Modern : the sharpest cut for very easy and quick emission, and a dark sound
- Classic : the widest for greater resistance and an even darker sound
